Stinging criticism by coaches may mean more to girls than to boys. Those are differences in values and behaviors between boys and girls. Effective coaching do focus on teaching and learning as well as distribution of leadership. The focus promotes leadership skill development, professional learning and support for coaches which targets on how to improve players performance.
